The initiative is a youth-led program for people aged 12-25 who are interested in pursuing a career within the music industry. The year-long program provides opportunities for participants to gain first-hand experience in the various elements of establishing and maintaining an independent record label.

As a committee, participants work with local upcoming Darebin artists and will develop and release an EP for each act. Throughout the program, both participants and artists have the opportunity to be mentored and be exposed to networking opportunities with key industry figures. The program concludes each year with a label launch event held at Northcote Town Hall as a part of the Darebin Music Feast.
