MUSIC TO SINK YOUR TEETH INTO Saturday 5 - Sunday 20 September 2009
In 2009 the Darebin Music Feast is encouraging everyone to sink their teeth into music and join the festival fun.
The Darebin Music Feast is the primary festival dedicated to song-writing and community music, in all its diverse forms for the Darebin City Council. It is an exciting, all-inclusive festival that includes hundreds of events and celebrates the musical diversity of one of Melbourne’s most thriving musical communities.
The festival does not commission artists. We support and encourage artists to create their own work.

Publicity Workshop | | Slow Art and Social Networking to Turn Audiences into Raving Fans!
Got art? Got audiences? But not enough of either? Would you like to learn how to easily manage an online Social Networking approach to building your capacity and sustainability? In this two hour session you will get an overall approach to preparing your products, services and ‘customer’ flow path before this little piggy goes to market! Managing ‘Web 2.0’ and applying a good dose of Slow Art to help snowball your focused efforts into a sustainable work process
Session presenter is singer/composer/community cultural development practitioner Andrea Rieniets. Andrea’s passion for unlocking the secret codes of communication has led her into some far out and about places. She is a highly organised and generous presenter who always delivers powerful, useable content.
Bring a gang so you can have a ‘Passion Team’ after the event to support each other through the hoary world of online challenges. You can hear Andrea’s music for big-spirited kids and their grownups at the Cha Cha Sam Website.
The workshop is valued at $30 per person but is completely FREE for Darebin Music Feast registered events. Seats are limited. Bookings a must!
Northcote Town Hall Wednesday 22nd July 2009 6:30pm - 8:30pm
RSVP: Craig Rogers on (03) 8470 8211 by 4:00pm Monday 20th July.
