The Tram Route 86 Corridor Improvement project covers a 6.8km corridor along High Street and Plenty Road, from Westgarth Street in Westgarth to Albert Street in Reservoir.
The proposal is important as more efficient, accessible and reliable public transport must be part of all short, medium and long term solutions to the problems of traffic congestion, the impact of climate change and rising fuel prices.
Earlier in 2009 the Darebin community provided feedback on an initial proposal. Council listened to this feedback and a revised proposal is now available for comment.

| A Revised Proposal is Available for Comment | | The revised proposal has been developed largely through the work of four Community Reference Groups and is available for public comment between Monday 12 October and Friday 4 December.

Multilingual Information Sessions:
Come along at any time between 5pm and 7pm to an multilingual session where translators from Darebin's six main community languages will be present (Italian, Greek, Macedonian, Chinese, Arabic and Vietnamese):
