Darebin Council, together with NMIT’s Bachelor of Writing and Publishing, come together to launch literary publication, Inscribe on 20 November 2009.
“Inscribe is a free, newspaper-style publication that showcases a diverse range of work from talented writers within our community,” said Darebin Acting Mayor, Cr Tim Laurence.
“The works featured in the inaugural edition were selected from those received following a call for submissions in August.”
“Darebin is already the home of an incredible number of writers and this innovative project will help support them even further.”
“Inscribe will be available from cafes, libraries and community hubs from mid-November.”
The community is invited to attend the Inscribe Launch at 7.30pm on Friday 20 November and the Inscribe Writers’ Symposium from 12pm on Saturday 21 November both at Northcote Town Hall.
