The annual Backyard Harvest Festival showcases abundant food gardens in the prime growing season - November. Learn from passionate and knowledgable local Darebin experts from a diversity of cultures. Visit home gardens, participate in gardening workshops and get inspired to grow even more food in Spring! The Backyard Harvest Festival is delivered in partnership by Darebin Ethnic Communities Council (DECC) and Darebin City Council.

The Darebin Intercultural Centre hosts a number of events each month, from cooking classes to workshops, to forums on interesting topics and introductory seminars on the diversity within the Darebin Community.

Many events are free or at a low cost.
