Creative Business Seminar Series - Things I wish I had known with Susan Nethercote

If you want a successful creative business, you can write a business plan, devise a marketing strategy and make some financial projections. But what is often of most value is hearing what has worked and what hasn’t from people who have been there. As part of Darebin Arts’ Creative Business Seminar Series 2014, fashion designer Susan Nethercote of Manque Design will speak openly and frankly of ‘things I wish I had known’. The former Northcote local will share both her experience of creating and building a successful clothing label and also finding a way to fit that into her life as a tree-changer, a mother, and transition to a new career as consultant and speaker. The evening will comprise both a talk and interactive Q&A session and will be followed by the opportunity to network. The event is free but registrations are essential.
