Have you employed a person with disability?

The Australian Network on Disability (AND) has assisted the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) to develop a survey to get a snapshot of employers' experiences with Disability Employment Services (DES).

This survey will provide valuable information that AHRI and AND can use as members of the Federal Employment Participation Minister's Disability Employment Services Reference Group.

We would appreciate you taking a few minutes of your time to complete the following survey. All responses will remain anonymous.

The closing date for the survey is Friday, 29 July 2011.

Diversity and Disability Employment Survey

DnD (Diversity and Disability) is doing research on employment, unemployment and disability. The purpose of this survey is to find out about barriers affecting people with a disability in gaining employment and will compare people with a disability from a non English speaking background (NESB) with people with a disability from a mainly English speaking background (MESB).

We will be looking at similarities and differences between the two groups in term of barriers to employment so we can better understand the support needed for both groups to open up opportunities. We are also looking at what the government and non government sector is doing to support and create employment opportunities for all people with a disability.
