Darebin City Council seeks your support in our application for funding from the Federal Government’s Community Energy Efficiency Program (CEEP) to improve the energy efficiency of the Reservoir Leisure Centre.
This will help us to reduce our energy costs, provide a more reliable service and reduce our Greenhouse Gas emissions.
The main action of this project will be to install a gas powered cogeneration system at the Reservoir Leisure Centre, which will enable us to generate our own cleaner electricity on site, as well as provide heating for our pools from the waste engine heat. This is a very clever system.
