Welcome to True North – Reservoir’s very own Arts Festival held from the 1st - 3rd March 2013. Designed to celebrate the unique cultural identity of Reservoir, True North is a festival showcasing this distinctive multicultural area of Melbourne. We want to bring people out of their houses and into the streets, to have a good time and talk about what makes Reservoir special.

You will be amazed what you discover if you head True North.

As the first professional arts festival in Reservoir, the City of Darebin has developed an exciting program of events to engage the community and showcase some of Melbourne, Darebin and Reservoir’s best performers. We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to be part of Reservoir’s growing cultural landscape.

Darebin Community and Kite Festival:

The Darebin Community and Kite Festival is a free community festival and has been going for over a decade. Now that’s a lot of kites stuck in trees. Make the most of the music, free activities and kite flying. Enjoy food from around the world and heaps of free activities.

Razor-sharp comedians, beautiful burlesque performers, musicians, writers, graphic artists, visual artists, set designers, landscape artists and artists of other kinds too. True North - Reservoir Arts Festival has a stunning line up of talented folks from Reservoir, Darebin and around Melbourne to entertain and challenge.

Free Festival Shuttle Bus

Come to True North - Reservoir Arts Festival via the FREE Festival Shuttle Bus. Stops include Reservoir Civic Centre, East Reservoir Neighbourhood House, La Trobe University (Chisholm College - College Drive) and the Darebin Community and Kite Festival (Saturday ONLY). Bus will depart every 20-30 minutes during the following times;

Friday 1st March
from 4:00pm - 12:00am

Saturday 2nd March
from 12:00pm - 12:00am

Sunday 3rd March
from 4:00pm - 10:00pm
