Injuries fall into two categories; accidental and intentional. Common accidental injuries include broken bones, cuts, burns and drowning. Some injuries are intentional acts such as physical assault, poisoning and self-harm.
Injury Prevention has been recognised as an issue within the City of Darebin. Council strives to address the key factors that influence the health and well being of the local community to ensure a safer environment.
