| 'Not So Fast' is a community education program to increase awareness of speed limits in residential streets. The program encourages drivers to slow down, drive safely and be aware of pedestrians and other activities.
The program involves:
- portable, trailer-mounted device, that displays the speed of oncoming vehicles
- reflective stickers
- enforcement; and
- general publicity campaigns

| Speed Check Display | | The Speed Check Display is a handy tool for motorists to ensure they are travelling at the correct speed for the area.
The display isn't a speed camera, it will not book you if you are over the speed limit. However as part of the 'Not So Fast' program, police enforcements do patrol the areas in which the display is placed.
| Reflective Stickers | | Neighbourhoods involved in the 'Not So Fast' program will be sent reflective stickers of the local speed limit in an effort to increase awareness of local speed limits.
The reflective stickers are to be placed on the sides of rubbish bins so that on their assigned rubbish night motorists will be reminded of the local speed limit.
