| Mayor's Event 2009 - Unmask a Cure for MS | | Date: Friday 20 Novermber 2009
Location: Stars International Reception Centre, Preston
The whole community is encouraged to support the Mayoral Fundraising Ball, hosted by Darebin Mayor, Cr Diana Asmar to help research into finding a cure for Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

| White Ribbon ‘March to the Market’ | | Date: Friday 20 November
Location: Meeting outside Preston Police Station and marching to the Preston Marketto the Preston Oval
Time: 10.30am
Darebin Council staff and various community organisations will help raise awareness of the White Ribbon Campaign by marching through the market and distributing information.

| White Ribbon Loudest Shout | | Date: Wednesday 25 November
Location: Edwardes Lake Park, enter at Griffiths St
Time: 5.30pm start for a 6pm ‘shout’
Join us to shout "NO" to violence against women at the White Ribbon Loudest Shout. Halal BBQ and live music from Vox Congo. This event marks the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. Partners include Reservoir Village Traders, Darebin Interfaith Council, Darebin Police and Darebin Community Health.

| Carols in All Nations | | Date: Saturday 12 December
Location: All Nations Park, Separation Street, Northcote
Time: 6pm - 10pm
Carols in All Nations is a much loved community event. Bring a picnic, your best singing voice and celebrate Christmas with your community! Features Darebin City Brass, Massed Community Choir, Preston Salvation Army Band, Gruppo Culturale Italiano, ARCapella, Lipstick & Spurs and our Christmas Market. Rain or shine!
