Preston Eye Care, one of Darebin’s Light$mart Businesses is projected to save over $1,000 a year on their electricity bills by switching their electricity retailer and signing up to 25% GreenPower. They are also projected to save over $1,500 a year in reduced electricity and maintenance costs as a result of upgrading their lights to be more energy efficient.  Collectively these actions will save 12.53 tonnes of greenhouse gases, which is equivalent to taking three cars off the road per year.

"We have been so pleased to be able to do something to reduce our carbon footprint and improve our business at the same time”, says business partner Tony De Felice.
