The Community Survey has been commissioned by Council since 1999 and examines the levels of community satisfaction with a range of services and programs conducted by Council. The survey aims to provide Council with an objective, timely and consistent picture of the community’s perception of Council performance.
The sample includes residents from 1000 households surveyed annually using a door-to-door interview style approach.
The survey data is weighted to ensure that each precinct has contributed the correct proportion to the overall results, based on the 2011 Census of Population and Housing precinct populations.
