New Kindergarten for Reservoir East

Reservoir East Family Centre is on track to open in Term One 2023!

Families in the Reservoir East area can look forward to a new kindergarten option close to home, with a three-room facility on track to open in Term One 2023 and currently accepting registrations. Located at Reservoir East Primary School, Reservoir East Family Centre will offer 3-and-4-year-olds up to 15 hours a week of play-based learning to help them get ready for school.

The facility is being constructed by the Victorian School Building Authority with support from Council, which is managing registrations through our central registration system. State Government is funding three kindergarten rooms and outdoor play spaces while Darebin is providing funding for two flexible consulting rooms to provide services to families.

Reservoir East Family Centre will give families in this growing area of Darebin access to essential services, with registrations for three and four-year-old kinder in 2023 already open.

Council has engaged a provider, with more information to be provided in the coming weeks.
