Round 1 kindergarten registrations closed 30 June 2022
To be considered for round 1 offers, you needed to register by 30 June 2022.
You can still register and your child may be considered for a round 2 offer - which are sent out at the end of August for 4 year old kinder, mid September for 3 year old kinder.
Kindergarten helps children to develop strong social skills and encourages a love of learning.

New and closing kindergartens
- Reservoir East Primary School Kindergarten (Reservoir East Family Centre) will be open for 2023 - you can register for this kindergarten through this page
- Kookaburra Kindergarten at 34 George Street Reservoir closes in December 2022
Step 2 - register for kindergarten
Register online - easy and fastest way
The easiest way to register for 3 or 4 year old kindergarten for 2022 and 2023, but if you need help, contact our Darebin Registration Team by calling 03 8470 8825 or email registration.kindergartenchildcare@darebin.vic.gov.au.
Register for 3 or 4 year old kindergarten
Ask us for a paper application form
Email registration.kindergartenchildcare@darebin.vic.gov.au or call 03 8470 8825 to have a registration form sent to you, or visit one of our customer service centres to pickup a form.
Step 3 - pay your administration fee
There is a one off administration fee for the registration of each child, but administration fees are waived for eligible Australian Government concession card holders.
