Learner Permit Program

Held over the school holidays, this program helps you to get your licence. Ensure to register your interest as there are only 10 places per program.

  • Get some real experience driving a car
  • Choose manual or automatic.
  • Practise in a safe setting around Moonee Valley Racecourse
  • Costs include driving tests with Camelot driving school.
  • We make your booking and pay the fee at VicRoads
  • Leaves from Darebin Youth Resource Centre.
  • African Access Homework Group

    • Meets every Wednesday at 6pm at Spectrum Migrant Resource Centre (251 High Street, Preston). 

    • Tutoring available in a range of subjects including maths and english

    • Supported by SPAN Neighborhood House who train and support volunteer tutors.

    • Partnership Program with Spectrum Migrant Resource Centre who train and support volunteer tutors.

    • Weekly visits to the Library

    • Learn how to use the 'Home Tutor' system

    • Great opportunity to receive advice on how to tackle difficult subjects at school.

    • One on one tutoring for year 10, 11, and 12 students with our friendly support volunteer tutors.

    Work Experience

    If you're interested in youth work, perhaps you would like to do some work experience in the Youth Services Department.

    Learn some valuable skills in the industry. Give us a call to see what is available.
