What is a shared path?

A shared path is designed to be used by everyone. Get tips on using a shared path.

Shared paths are designed to be used by everyone. They are multi-user paths for people of all ages and paces including pedestrians, wheelchair users, joggers, children on scooters or roller-skates, families with prams and dog walkers. They're also used by recreational and commuting bike riders, as well as families visiting parks.

Everyone needs to be thoughtful and mindful on a shared path to ensure they are safe for all.
