From farm to table

Bundoora Park Farm runs hands-on education programs across areas including science, geography, history and design and technology.

From Farm to Table

The links between processed foods and original farm products can be surprising and illuminating for children growing up in a predominantly urban environment.

In this hands-on education program students have the opportunity to uncover the origins and journeys of their favourite foods from the farm to the kitchen table.

Activities

  • Farm classroom – interactive discussion on farm products including wheat grinding and butter churning
