Darebin Intercultural Centre

Darebin Intercultural Centre is a dedicated space for intercultural dialogue, engagement and community development. It is a practical demonstration of Darebin City Council’s commitment to combat racism and foster cultural diversity and connectedness between Darebin’s diverse community members. We host a variety of activities throughout the year that provide an opportunity for community to connect with each other and celebrate, share, and learn about diverse ways of being, knowing, and doing.

Meeting rooms with conference style facilities including, Wi-Fi, AV equipment and a fantastic community kitchen space are available for hire for events and activities driving the Centre;s purpose and vision.

Spaces for hire:

The Pearl Room: The large first floor room has an in-built small stage and a capacity for 50 theatre style or 20 U shape. AV set up with a projector and screen, laptop, DVD player, lectern, microphone and WIFI internet. The carpeted room is suitable for a range of activities building intercultural relations from indoor health classes, workshops, meetings and classes.

The Jade Room: The large ground floor function room has a capacity for 50 people theatre style or 20 for U shape. The light filled room has an AV set up with a projector and screen, laptop, LCD TV, lectern, microphone, whiteboard and WIFI internet.

The Amber Room: Small 6-person meeting room on the first floor. Max capacity 6.

The Opal Room: Ground floor meeting room, boardroom style for 10. Whiteboard and flip board available.

Darebin North East Community Hub

35 Copernicus Crescent, Bundoora VIC 3083

Darebin North East Community Hub is a newly refurbished community centre located in Bundoora. In addition to our services listed below we are also currently home to 3KnD, Melbourne’s only Indigenous radio station. The venue has a variety of spaces that encourage the collaboration of community and social participation through playgroups, training's, meetings.

East Preston Community Centre

East Preston Community Centre provides a range of programs and services to improve the health and wellbeing outcomes of the East Preston and surrounding community. The facility has rooms that are available for hire by community groups, Council staff and organisations. These are for a range of activities such as staff meetings, community groups, food demonstrations and workshops.

Spaces for hire

Meeting Room: Capacity for 4 people and suitable for small team or committee meetings.

Program Room 1: A room with great natural light, a kitchen and the capacity to seat 14 people. This room also has access to the small courtyard at the front of the centre. Suitable for small meetings, food demonstrations and workshops.

Program Rooms 2 and 3: These rooms can be hired as one large room or separated into two smaller rooms. The combined room has the capacity to seat 35 to 40 people. This room has access to the large courtyard at the back of the centre. Suitable for meetings, learning and development sessions and group activities.

Office: Capacity to seat 2 and can be accessed by organisations who have signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

Keon Park Children's Hub

Keon Park Children’s Hub is a community centre, located in northern Reservoir. The hub provides a range of family and community services as listed below and has multi-purpose spaces available for hire. A large welcoming foyer has a variety of activities, community information and an area to relax. The multi-purpose rooms are available for hire for variety of purposes. Suitable for your social clubs, local community gatherings, after school programs, workshops, training sessions and children’s activities, the hub provides a space for community to learn, connect and grow.

Meeting room: Ideal for meetings and training, TV monitor and PC connected. Capacity 16 people.

Multi-purpose rooms: Multi 1 & 2 can be separated or together as one large light filled space ideal for community groups, children’s activities or trainings. Carpeted and with 2 projectors and screens, the space has capacity for 50 in each room theatre style or 100 combined.

Reservoir Community and Learning Centre

Reservoir Community and Learning Centre is a welcoming and vibrant community hub in the heart of Edwardes Street Reservoir. The hub is home to Reservoir Library and Decibels Recording Studio in addition to providing a range of health, family and community services. The venue also has a range of modern community spaces available for hire that are suitable for your meetings, community groups, information sessions, product launches and social clubs.

Meeting rooms: Ground Floor meeting rooms 1 & 2 are separate rooms with a capacity of 8 people each or can be opened into one room for 16 people boardroom style.

Function rooms
: The first floor function room has a capacity for 90 people theatre style or can be separated in to 2 smaller rooms of 45. A foyer entrance, high ceilings and AV system make it perfect for meetings, product training's and social clubs.
