Are you a not-for-profit community group or organisation with great ideas on how to create a better Darebin? Apply for our annual Community Grants!
We’re home to so many diverse groups and people who make incredible contributions to our community. Darebin’s Community Grants program supports projects that make our city a better, healthier, sustainable and more inclusive place.
In 2022/23, we’re offering grants in the following categories:
- Small Grants (up to $3,000 per application)
- Medium Grants (up to $15,000 per application)
- Venue Hire Support Grants (up to $8,000 per application)
- Youth Projects Grants (up to $5,000 per application)
How to apply
- Join one of our optional online information sessions on Thursday 7 April 2022 (from 10am or 6.30pm). Find out more about each grant, how to apply and how you can align your project idea with our strategic directions. Register now.
- Sign up for a grant writing workshop for tips on how to write a great application.
- Each grant category has its own application form. Only online applications are accepted via Darebin Smartygrants. Read each Grant Guideline on Smartygrants to see if you’re eligible and to understand the grant criteria.
