International Day of People with Disability 2023

IDPwD (observed December 3) aims to promote community awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability.

Sunday 3 December is International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) a day to celebrate, and promote community awareness, and acceptance of people with disability.

This year, in recognition of IDPwD we’re proudly partnering with local community groups, Northern Autism Network and High Street Bells Choir to run events and programs that celebrate the disability community. This will include a performance by the High Street Bells Choir and the development of a community resource by the Northern Autism Network. Both will be happening in early 2024.

If you’re part of the disability community, or a group that would like to get involved please email disability.access@darebin.vic.gov.au.
