The Australian Services Union (ASU) has notified Darebin City Council and the other seven councils joined in multi-employer bargaining that they plan to take strike action on Wednesday 17 June. Some council services are affected by the ASU’s strike.
Every year Council provides funds and assistance to not for profit groups and organisations through the Community Partnership Grants Program. For transparency purposes, councillors are not involved with the approval of individual grant allocations.
The Program aims to support community projects and activities that address one or more of the Council Plan 2021–2025 strategic directions and objectives: Vibrant, Respectful and Connected; Prosperous, Liveable and Flourishing; and Climate, Green and Sustainable.
