We have a variety of centres across Darebin providing services to improve the well-being of the community. They offer support to families with children, health and social programs and have spaces available for hire for your next community event or meeting.
Darebin North East Community Hub

Darebin North East Community Hub is a newly refurbished community centre located in Bundoora. In addition to our services listed below we are also currently home to 3KnD, Melbourne’s only Indigenous radio station.
The venue has a variety of services for the community such as playgroups and community health services. However, this venue does not have any function rooms or meeting rooms for hire.

East Preston Community Centre

East Preston Community Centre provides a range of programs and services to improve the health and wellbeing outcomes of the East Preston and surrounding community. The facility has rooms that are available for hire by community groups, council staff and organisations.
These are for a range of activities such as staff meetings, community groups, food demonstrations and workshops.

Spaces for hire
Meeting Room: Capacity for 4 people and suitable for small team or committee meetings.
Program Room 1: A room with great natural light, a kitchen and the capacity to seat 14 people. This room also has access to the small courtyard at the front of the centre. Suitable for small meetings, food demonstrations and workshops.
Program Rooms 2 and 3: These rooms can be hired as one large room or separated into two smaller rooms. The combined room has the capacity to seat 35 to 40 people. This room has access to the large courtyard at the back of the centre. Suitable for meetings, learning and development sessions and group activities.
Office: Capacity to seat 2 and can be accessed by organisations who have signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

GE Robinson Pavilion

The refurbished GE Robinson Tennis Pavilion is home to the Regent Tennis Club and is situated within the GE Robinson Reserve, Reservoir.
The social room is a community space within the pavilion that is available for hire by the community.
This bright and charming room provides a space suitable for hosting regular meetings, community groups, information or training sessions, and indoor health and wellbeing activities. This venue is not available for any private functions such as birthday parties or weddings.
Spaces for hire
Maximum capacity: 40 people
Available hours: Available for hire weekdays between 9am—3pm.
- Tennis courts are not available for social room hirers
- The room is used by the Regent Tennis Club outside booking hours
- Tennis court users also have access to toilets and changerooms during community hire hours

Keon Park Children's Hub

Keon Park Children’s Hub is a community centre, located in northern Reservoir. The hub provides a range of family and community services as listed below and has multi-purpose spaces available for hire. A large welcoming foyer has a variety of activities, community information and an area to relax. The multi-purpose rooms are available for hire for variety of purposes, however this venue is not available for any private functions such as birthday parties or weddings.
Suitable for your social clubs, local community gatherings, after school programs, workshops, training sessions and children’s activities, the hub provides a space for community to learn, connect and grow.

Meeting room: Ideal for meetings and training, TV monitor and PC connected. Capacity 16 people.
Multi-purpose rooms: Multi 1 & 2 can be separated or together as one large light filled space ideal for community groups, children’s activities or trainings. Carpeted and with 2 projectors and screens, the space has capacity for 50 in each room theatre style or 100 combined.

Reservoir Community and Learning Centre is a welcoming and vibrant community hub in the heart of Edwardes Street, Reservoir. The hub is home to Reservoir Library and Decibels Recording Studio in addition to providing a range of health, family and community services.
The venue also has a range of modern community spaces available for hire that are suitable for your meetings, community groups, information sessions, product launches and social clubs. This venue is not available for any private functions such as birthday parties or weddings.

Spaces for hire
Meeting rooms: Ground floor meeting rooms 1 and 2 are separate rooms with a capacity of 8 people each or can be opened into one room for 16 people boardroom style.
Function rooms: The first floor function room has a capacity for 90 people theatre style or can be separated in to 2 smaller rooms of 45. A foyer entrance, high ceilings and AV system make it perfect for meetings, product training and social clubs.

Our halls vary in capacity between 40—600 people and are suitable for a range of activities such as meetings, exercise classes, social clubs, dance classes, community events, culturally and linguistic diverse events, art exhibitions, weddings and concerts.

Clyde Street Community Hall
Only venue available for primary school aged functions for children 5—12 years old

Clyde Street Community Hall is a lovely indoor and outdoor spaces available for hire in Thornbury. This hall boasts an indoor space suitable for meetings, social clubs, indoor health and well-being activities and playgroups as well as a designated fenced off play area outside with an undercover BBQ area. While this venue does allow parties for primary school aged children, it is not available for any other private functions.
The kitchenette has a stove and oven combo for heating and serving purposes.
This is our only small hall suitable for birthday parties. Clyde Street is a self set-up venue with chairs and tables available for use.
Off street parking is available, wheelchair and accessible friendly.
Maximum capacity: 50 people

Ruthven Community Room is a self set-up venue with chairs and tables available for use.
