Clyde Street Community Hall
Only venue available for primary school aged functions for children 5—12 years old.
Clyde Street Community Hall is a lovely indoor and outdoor spaces available for hire in Thornbury. This hall boasts an indoor space suitable for meetings, social clubs, indoor health and well-being activities and playgroups as well as a designated fenced off play area outside with an undercover BBQ area. While this venue does allow parties for primary school aged children, it is not available for any other private functions.
The kitchenette has a stove and oven combo for heating and serving purposes.
This is our only small hall suitable for birthday parties. Clyde Street is a self set-up venue with chairs and tables available for use.
Off street parking is available, wheelchair and accessible friendly.
Maximum capacity: 50 people
Available hours:
- Sunday to Thursday, 9am—10pm
- Friday and Saturday, 9am—11pm
- Children’s parties must be finished by 5pm

Hire fees
Rates are for the 2023/24 financial year
Monday to Friday, 7:30am-5pm
- Commercial rate (inc GST) - $25 per hour
- Community rate (inc GST) - $12 per hour
- Children's party for 5-12 year olds (inc GST) - $31.50 per hour
Monday to Friday, 5pm onwards
Saturday, Sunday and public holidays
- Commercial rate (inc GST) - $25 per hour
- Community rate (inc GST) - $12 per hour
- Children's party for 5-12 year olds (inc GST) - $31.50 per hour
