Immunisation sessions
We run open immunisation sessions and appointment clinics at different venues around our community for children, adolescents and adults.
Immunisation sessions
Everyone is welcome to attend any of our open sessions and appointment clinics, including babies and children, adolescents and adults.
Vaccines funded under the National Immunisation Program are free for all those who are eligible.
Did you know we also offer optional, fee-paying vaccines at all sessions without a prescription?
You can get recommended extra protection for:
- Meningococcal B (Bexsero)
- Meningococcal ACWY (Nimenrix)
- Chickenpox
Read about immunisation for children for more details.
Attending a session
There is no cost to attend our immunisation sessions.
When attending immunisation sessions, please keep the following in mind:
- face masks are strongly recommended and will be offered to all clients
- bring your pram or stroller - there is plenty of space and ramp access at our venues
- bring your Medicare card (if you have one), your child’s Green MCH Book, and any other immunisation history documents with you
- photography and video recording are not permitted at immunisation sessions
- payments for fee-paying vaccines can be made with EFTPOS or credit card - no payments with cash
Open sessions
Open sessions are drop-in, and no appointment is needed.
