Placemaking

Placemaking is about transforming public spaces into vibrant, welcoming, community-centered spaces.

From large-scale projects like the Reservoir Revitalisation project to smaller installations like the Legs Lane mural, placemaking can contribute to increasing community safety, beautification and boosting economic and social impact.

In Darebin we work closely with local businesses and trader associations to activate our city and make it a destination where people want to visit and locals want to shop.
