Renewing your pet registration
Every year your pet registration is due to be renewed with council on April 10.
Registrations expire on 10 April each year. We generally send renewal notices via email or post around March.
- If you do not receive your pet registration renewal notice, please contact Customer Service.
- You can renew your pet registration online (less than 2 min to complete):

You can also renew your pet registration:
- by posting a cheque or money order to PO Box 91, Preston VIC 3072
- over the phone by calling 1300 954 297
- in person at a Customer Service Centre.
Refunds
Council does not refund registration fees for pets that move from the Darebin area or are lost, missing, or deceased.
