Looking after your bike
We're here to help keep your bike safe and easy to ride, year-round. Make sure to book ahead for our popular Free Monthly Bike Check program at Reservoir and Northcote. We also provide Public Bike Repair Stations throughout Darebin, and hold 3-hour Basic Bike Maintenance Workshops during autumn and springtime.
Free monthly bike checks
Darebin Council has partnered with WeCycle and Dr Cranky’s to offer free monthly 20-min bike checks at Reservoir and Northcote. Friendly bike mechanics will be on hand to check your bike and help you get it into top shape.
Bookings are essential.
Northcote – Held on the third Saturday of each month, between 12.30pm and 3.00pm.

Public bike repair stations
Our public bike repair stations allow you to easily complete on-the-go repairs on your bike on any day and at any time. The following repair stations include a pump and basic tools to help you complete minor maintenance on your bike:

Please report any vandalism or faults to fleetsystem@darebin.vic.gov.au. If your report relates to the Preston – Bell shared path bike repair station, please phone the Level Crossing Removal Authority on 1800 105 105 instead.
