The Australian Services Union (ASU) has notified Darebin City Council that it’s members may participate in a four-hour stoppage between 10am and 2pm on Thursday 30 July.

Some council services may be affected by the ASU’s strike including waste collections and library services.

It’s regrettable the Australian Services Union’s industrial action has affected our communities and customers. We will continue to negotiate in good faith with all unions representing our staff and we thank you for your patience.

We apologise for any inconvenience and will keep you informed as much as possible.
