Plan your journey to Northcote Aquatic and Recreation Centre so that you arrive relaxed and ready to get active. Here are some easy ways to get to NARC.
With new bike parking recently installed and great bike routes nearby, why not ease into your workout with a gentle ride to NARC.
Pick up a copy of the Darebin TravelSmart Map from our counter, or check it out online. The maps shows on-road bike lanes, off-road riding trails and Shimmy backstreet bike routes, as well as walking paths, public toilets and public transport information, including tram and train maps.
Try out our new e-scooters and e-bikes as part of the Darebin trial. You'll find them near the Lorna Avenue entrance to the carpark and at convenient locations across Northcote and Fairfield.
Warm up before your workout by walking or get a head start by running to the centre.
Take the 250/251 bus straight to the pool or the 552 just a short stroll away. Did you know that public transport is now completely free for all children under 18?
Drive
If you need to drive to NARC, we have some parking onsite, including accessible parking bays. You could also share a lift with a friend.
