Social groups and outings at Yanada House

Social support groups at Yanada House in Northcote offer fun programs and recreational outings. A referral code for social support groups via My Aged Care is required. If you already have a referral code for social support group, please call Yanada House on 03 8470 8970 to arrange a visit.

Local Lunch Group - Meet every Wednesday over lunch at different locations around Darebin from 12-2pm. Make your own way there or limited places on our bus may be available. Cost: $7.50, transport $5 if required and the cost of your purchases.

Learn how to use your phone - Join others over morning tea and learn how to use features and applications on your smart phone. Build confidence and knowledge in a friendly and social setting. We meet every Wednesday from 10am until 12pm. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided. Cost: $7.50.

Friday outings - Come along on a variety of fun excursions. From popular lunch spots, picnics, art exhibitions to gardens and more. Our groups go on outings every fortnight, from 10am until 2pm. Cost: $20 program fee + incidental costs for excursions (low-cost or free).

Link community transport

Link community transport provide safe specialist transport and social outings. Some of the outings are low cost or free if you are registered with My Aged Care.
