From farm to table

Uncover the origins and journeys of your favourite foods, with guided, hands-on learning for the garden, farm and kitchen.

Recommended for early primary school years. The links between processed foods and original farm products can be surprising and illuminating for children growing up in a predominantly urban environment.

In this hands-on education program students have the opportunity to uncover the origins and journeys of their favourite foods from the farm to the kitchen table.

  • Hands-on scone making, which the children will eat at the end of the program.
  • Farm classroom - which may include wheat grinding and butter churning.
