November-December
The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is a global campaign dedicated to ending gender-based violence. Women and gender diverse people experience high rates of gender-based violence. This campaign aims to raise awareness and provide helpful information to prevent or respond to family and gender-based violence.
It begins on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (November 25) and ends on International Human Rights Day (December 10) to emphasise that gender-based violence is a violation of human rights.
