Children’s Week (24 October to 1 November 2026) is a national celebration that recognises the talents, skills, achievements and rights of children.
The theme for Children’s Week 2026 is 'Children have the right to use their language, celebrate their culture and practice their religion'.
The Darebin Early Years Team is hosting a free sensory play session for Darebin families with children aged 0 to 5 years.
This event will include a range of play activities to stimulate the five senses and will involve exploration of different textures and creative play experiences. There will also be a multicultural storytelling and rhyme time during the session.
Bookings are essential as places are limited.
