Supported playgroups are led by facilitators trained in evidence-based strategies that assist families with their child’s learning and development through everyday activities and play. Parents and caregivers also receive great parenting resources from the Smalltalk parenting program.
There are 10 Supported Playgroups run during school terms at Various locations and times (locations and times will be given during a call back after registration of interest form is completed). These are 2 hourly sessions run weekly during school terms and are facilitated by a Darebin Council staff member.

Once the form is completed you will be contacted by a Darebin Council Supported Playgroups officer to confirm the registration and to book into one of the supported playgroups.
Term 3 2026 Supported Playgroups dates are 13 July - 18 September 2026. The first group starts on 13 July, and the last group is on 18 September (please note there are 10 groups with different time slots and days, the start and end date here shows the first group and last group session dates).
