When do I tell my child about a new baby? How do I prepare my child for a new baby?

How does my child feel when welcoming a baby into our home? What can I do to assist this transition?

Darebin City Council’s Early Years Team will be presenting a free parenting program on welcoming a new sibling into your family for Darebin families with children aged 0–5 years. 

This is an interactive session, and families will have the opportunity to ask questions throughout the program. Families will gain ideas and strategies on supporting their child at home while transitioning and welcoming a new baby into their home.
