FAQs

What is the minimum age for Reformer Pilates?

Participants must be 16 years or older.

Can I attend Reformer Pilates classes if I'm pregnant?

No. While Reformer Pilates can be a great form of exercise during pregnancy, our group classes at RLC aren’t specifically designed for pregnant participants. This is because modifications vary depending on the stage of pregnancy and how you're feeling on the day, and in a group setting, we’re unable to provide the level of individual tailoring needed to ensure your safety and comfort.

We recommend speaking with your healthcare provider and seeking out a pregnancy-specific studio

Can I attend as a casual or on a trial?

Reformer is available via membership only. We do not currently offer casual or visit pass options.

Our memberships do not have a minimum term, so you are able to cancel in writing with 2 weeks' notice or within the cooling off period if you decide that Reformer Pilates is not for you.

Can Fitness Passport holders access Reformer or the Recovery Room?

Reformer Pilates and the Recovery Room are not included in Fitness Passport access, but we’ve made it easy for Fitness Passport holders to enjoy these services. You can purchase a standalone membership starting from just $20/week (adult) or $17/week (concession) for one service – or bundle both for $23/week (adult) and $20/week (concession).

Let our team know if you’d like help finding the right option for you.

How long before each class can I book?

Bookings open 3 days + 1 hours in advance.

I have joined the waitlist, how does the waitlist work?

A waitlist of up to 5 members is available for fully booked classes.

Joining the waitlist means you'll be automatically added to the class if a spot becomes available, which may occur up to one hour before the class begins. If your plans change and you're no longer able to attend, please remove yourself from the waitlist to help us ensure maxiumum particpation in our popular classes.

If you’re moved into the class, you’ll receive a confirmation email.

What do I do if I can no longer make it to my booked class?

If you are no longer able to attend your booked class you can cancel your booking on the Client Portal up to 1 hour before the class starts.

Class cancellation is free if notified up to 1 hour before the class starts.

Late cancellation / No show: A $5 fee applies if cancelled less than 1 hour before, or if you don’t attend.

In extenuating circumstances that prevent you from attending a class, please contact us by email or at reception to discuss.
Fees may be waived at our discretion.
