Design Excellence Program

The Design Excellence Program aims to improve the quality of development in Darebin. It will address the climate emergency by creating sustainable and liveable neighbourhoods that stand the test of time.

As part of the program, we've developed initiatives to meet the social, economic and environmental needs of our growing population. The program outlines our expectations and encourages developers to submit well-designed planning applications that improve amenity for the community.
