We support young people aged 12–25 across Darebin, working in local schools, tertiary institutions, and public spaces.
The Youth Engagement Team runs programs and events on health promotion, arts and sporting activities.
As an extension of the wider Darebin Youth Services support network, we aim to connect young people with different support services including those relating to mental health, housing, education and employment support.
With a focus on early intervention, mentorship and wellbeing, the team works in culturally safe and inclusive ways that reflect the diversity of Darebin’s youth.
The Youth Engagement team work at a number of different locations throughout Darebin including schools, tertiary institutions and public spaces such as skate parks and parklands. We aim to meet young people where they are already at.
