The Planning Committee comprises all Councillors and makes decisions on planning applications for industry, business and residential property developments that are considered to be of significance to the community.

Planning Committee has the powers, duties and functions as set out in the Instrument of Delegation to the Planning Committee(PDF, 566KB) subject to the conditions and limitations specified in that Instrument.

Planning Committee Meetings are open to the public and are conducted in accordance with the Council’s Governance Rules 2020(PDF, 965KB).

If you would like to observe the meeting in person, please register via the online form or by calling our Customer Service team on 8470 8888, by 12pm on the day of the meeting.
