Darebin Intercultural Centre Expression of Interest (EOI) Program
Darebin Intercultural Centre (IC) invites expressions of interest (EOIs) from individuals, groups, and organisations to deliver programs, events, and activities in the IC’s space at 350 High Street Preston.
The EOI program provides access to different streams depending on the nature, purpose, and scale of your activity. The IC prioritises community-led, intercultural programming that increases access, participation, and connection across diverse communities.
All applications are assessed against alignment with the IC’s Vision, Mission and Programming Framework and our Booking Terms of Reference(PDF, 754KB).
The program is open to people who live, work or study in the City of Darebin.
There are three streams you can apply for:
- Funding stream (free space and stipend)
- Venue stream (free space)
- General stream (commercial and community rates)
Funding stream
This stream is for programs that need money and support to proceed. You can apply to receive a $2000 stipend, 10 hours space, and support to develop and share your idea. Your idea must include a free, public outcome as part of the IC program.
Venue stream
This stream is for programs that are already viable but need space to deliver a free public program. You can apply to receive up to 30 hours venue support to deliver a program at the IC.
General stream
This stream applies where the primary purpose is private benefit, income generation, or organisational use. The purpose of this stream is to enable paid or partnership-based use of IC spaces and support the financial sustainability of community programming. This stream is suitable for businesses, consultants and corporate organisations who would like to hire space to run paid workshops, classes, events, meetings, training or private functions.
More information about each stream is available in our program guidelines below.
