Waste collections are not impacted by Australian Services Union industrial action at this time, allowing Council services to return to normal. If customers have any missed collections, these should be reported to Customer Service (Phone: 03 8470 8888). Council will keep the community informed if this changes.

Darebin City Council has appointed experienced state and local government senior executive, Michael Tudball as its Interim CEO.
Mr Tudball brings to the role more than 20 years’ experience in the VPS and local government, including three interim CEO roles at Moira, Golden Plains and Corangamite, and five years as the CEO of the Southern Grampians Shire Council. Michael has also previously served as a Councillor and Mayor at Moorabool Shire, which underpins his deep commitment to good governance and accountability to the community.
As well as a long list of tertiary qualifications spanning an MBA, and a Diploma of Company Directors, Michael has, and continues to be involved in several governance positions across a broad range of government and not-for-profit organisations including health, statutory authorities, and a disability support service organisation.
Mr Tudball commences in the role on 25 September.
