Lowering Flags in Acknowledgement of National Sorry Day

Published on 21 May 2025

On Monday 26 May, the Australian National Flag, the Aboriginal Flag, and the Torres Strait Islander Flag will be flown at half-mast at all Darebin City Council venues to mark National Sorry Day.

This observance acknowledges the strength of Stolen Generations survivors and reflects on the ongoing impact of past government policies on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
