Next date: Tuesday, 14 April 2026 | 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM

MainImage.jpg
Join us at the IC this school holidays for a print-making workshop for 8-12 year olds

Join us for a hands-on, creative adventure where sunlight, plants, and imagination come together! In this playful cyanotype printmaking workshop, children will discover how to make beautiful blue 'sun prints' using leaves, flowers, and natural shapes.

Through guided exploration, kids will learn about plants, light, and simple photographic processes — arranging botanical forms on special paper and watching them transform into vivid blue prints when exposed to the sun. It’s part art, part science, and full of wonder.

Morning Session
This 1-hour workshop will be facilitated in English, designed especially for children aged 8–12 . The session is lively, age-appropriate, and perfect for curious hands and minds.

Afternoon Session
This 1-hour workshop will be facilitated in Arabic for recently arrived families with children, offering a relaxed and welcoming space to create, learn, and spend time together.

Expect learning, laughter, and prints to take home or to exhibit at the Intercultural Centre — a joyful way to connect with nature, art, and each other.

All materials are provided — just bring your curiosity and creativity!
A parent or guardian is required to attend with each child.

(Cyanotype)
