Chogh چوغ
Chogh چوغ is the Hazaragi word for “thread”, this exhibition brings together six Australian-Hazara artists whose works speak from lived experience exploring migration, identity, gender and belonging.
Requiem in Power (RIP)
Grounded in material, ecological, and existential concerns, this collaborative exhibition by Gabrielle Skye Nehrybecki and Olive Guardiani brings together two neighbouring sites: the La Trobe Solar Farm and Preston Cemetery.
Heidi Schoenheimer - Around Here
Heidi presents a series of paintings capturing everyday life, exploring fleeting moments and familiar places of local neighbourhoods, including Darebin.
Sally Ann McIntyre - Post-extinction huia soundings, Te Whanganui-a-Tara 1912-1924
This exhibition explores the calls of the extinct huia bird. The artist plays recordings of the huia's call at sites where the bird was spotted, observing how living birds respond to a vanished voice, highlighting the more-than-human relationships that have existed for millennia.
