Join us for this online info session to learn about Darebin Gardens for Wildlife program and how you can become a Garden Guide volunteer!

Darebin Gardens for Wildlife program is run in partnership between Council and a dedicated team of passionate local volunteers known as Garden Guides.

Together, we support residents, schools, and businesses to create wildlife‑friendly gardens in their properties to provide habitat for our native animals and celebrate indigenous plants.

Garden Guides play a vital role in the program: they visit participating households, offer practical guidance on wildlife‑friendly gardening, and help inspire the community to take action for biodiversity.

Whether you're an experienced gardener or simply enthusiastic about nature, this session is a great way to explore whether the Garden Guide role is right for you.

In this session, you will:

  • Learn about the Darebin Gardens for Wildlife program
  • Discover what Garden Guide volunteers do
  • Find out how to become a Garden Guide volunteer
