Join your little ones to create wind chimes and nature-inspired mobiles using natural and recycled materials. This hands-on activity encourages creativity, observation, fine motor skills, and exploration of textures, sounds, and balance. Families and children are welcome to bring natural materials from home, such as sticks, shells, or small found objects, to include in their creations.
The workshop will begin with a 30-minute walk around the Children's Hub garden to collect natural elements and informally discuss ideas together before starting the crafting session.
This activity is great for children aged 7 - 10 years old.
Time: 9:30 am - 12pm.
Cost: The activity is free, with all materials provided, but registration is essential.
Safety: All Council staff and facilitators hold current Working With Children's Checks.
Children must be actively supervised by a parent or carer at all times.
