National Playgroup Week Nature Play Event

National Playgroup Week (16–22 March 2026) is a national celebration that provides opportunities for families and children to value play and learn through interactive fun activities.

This year National Playgroup Week theme is 'Playgroup Activates Possibility.”'. 

As part of the celebrations, Darebin Council is hosting a free Nature Play event for Darebin families with children aged 0 to 5 years. This event will include a range of age-appropriate nature play activities that will encourage families to explore and strengthen connections through learning. 

Please join us in a fun morning session of play. Bring along your own water bottle, hat and sunscreen.
