Amendment C210dare - Open Space Contributions

Information about the proposed changes to open space contributions.

As our population grows, the need for accessible and high-quality open space also grows.

As part of the subdivision of land Council requires non-exempt development to make a public open space contribution towards improvements to the Darebin open space network.

Planning Scheme Amendment C210dare proposes to change the way open space contributions apply to subdivisions that create less than five additional lots. This will allow Council to collect contributions that better match the need for more and better open space in Darebin.
